Manilva Municipal Radio and Television (rtvmanilva.com, 28/04/2025) reports that it was opened the previous Sunday on Las Arenas beach. The Town Council website (manilva.es) only records the project (27/01/2024: 400 m² for pets and parking) and the conversion works (17/02/2025: 'lo que será la playa canina en Las Arenas' (translation: what will be the dog beach at Las Arenas)). There is no official page after the opening. Rules according to The Olive Press (April 2025), unconfirmed: one area where a lead is compulsory and another roped-off area where dogs may go off the lead; potentially dangerous dogs (PPP) or dogs over 20 kg on a lead and muzzled.
