Beach not classified as a bathing area. Dogs under control at all times; muzzle for dogs over 20 kg; carry the animal's documentation and bags; potentially dangerous dogs (PPP) in accordance with RD 287/2002. The Málaga tourism listing (visita.malaga.eu) places the stretch between the Totalán stream and the start of the Rincón de la Victoria seafront promenade (about 600 m). The 'Playa Canina' (translation: Dog Beach) listing on andalucia.org (malaga-sun-and-beaches) says it is open all year round with no time restrictions.
